Nationwide municipal data consolidation project. Helping public entities with their citizenry data has been a key interest of mine since meeting Ajit our founder. The small and medium sized cities, towns, school districts and water districts need our assistance to bring their data easily to their customers, investors and citizens. Never as much as today have our local community organizations needed our help technically.

Initially, configurer, designer of a localized catalog pricing solution using core SAP, this effort allowed me to grow to principal architect of the primary system that does 85% of all Microsoft catalog pricing - covering volume licensing, OEM and managed retail - a "dream" engineering project & team using MM/SD/MDGOver 15 years of leading and mentoring a single corporate SAP team that managed to keep most contractors and employees together for over a decade, the architecture of the solution involved growing 6 basic components over the decade with the following impact:Catalog Localized Pricing Platform - The initial platform component created as a customized pricing catalog generator based on standard SAP pricing procedure/customer mastering/ listing & exclusion and inquiry document BAPI. This platform component initially went into production use in late 2005 and to this day continues to manage over 60 million active catalog pricepoints each month to data warehouses and Azure cloud repositories. This catalog pricing covers over 85% of Microsoft revenue. To date, this solution is managing over 1 billion historical prices for has simulated 10's of billions of rows of pricing with approximately a 10% add, change, delete each month. The user base is approx. 100 global super users who maintain the business rules solely in SAP’s pricing configurator. The pricing engine also encompasses bundle component pricing, pricing to feed revenue recognition rules and costing processes requiring more than a “standard price”. To date the solution manages over 60 million active prices & 1 billion historical prices. The architecture has simulated billions of rows of pricing within the same single primary SAP system that Microsoft operates today. From this modest beginning, the architecture was enhanced to manage promotions & sales deals (10K per month), orderable SKU/Sales BOM/materials management (1M active part numbers and BOMs), & quoting (10 million quotes yearly).

SAP and related technical consultant to Seattle firms including Washington Mutual and Microsoft. This time period was primarily with Microsoft as a contractor at the beginning of the Microsoft catalog pricing efforts.

Startup company experience in Boston and Munich Germany which included managing a team of 10. The entire team was hands-on with all IT operations involving server, phone and network – including infrastructure enhancements like failover, data center operations and disaster recover implementation and testing. In addition, half the team was responsible for automated web site testing – we created a truly user configurable test set up process using Excel, .net/visual basic – later brought this design to the Microsoft SAP team to be re-used with standard SAP script toolsets.

Transferred from Accenture consultant to FTE as an SAP Basis Manager leading all SAP infrastructure, release management, DR, upgrade and back up DBA efforts for ATL’s single SAP instance supporting ATL’s 500 million dollar revenue stream. This project allowed a 360 degree viewpoint of nearly every aspect of SAP technical layers from hardware & disaster recovery to security and release project because I wanted to see how a "great project finishes" after the consultants leave.

SAP Technical Basis Consultant and trainer for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) SAP practice. One of the first basis consultant team members on the west coast for Andersen at the time. Travelled projects all over the west coast eventually taking an FTE job with a client ATL Ultrasound (now Philips) in 1997.
