Network / System Manager - Lead System Staff Architect
• Responsible for planning, building, installing and configuring a Philadelphia data center that included 12 cabinets of Cisco router/switches, Cisco c240 virtual server farms, Hewlett Packard gen 9 servers and Metaswitch universal gateway solution. Developed a monitoring solution to ensure 99.999% uptime.• Developed, built and upgraded LiveSource Cisco UCCE service platform. Installed and configured individual virtual VMware 6.5 host servers/Windows 2012 servers, WAN Circuits for Cisco network routers/switches, Cisco Finesse servers and F5 load balancers to support the data center and platform. • Developed Build and deployed a VoIP Platform utilizing Cisco AS5400xm gateways, Cisco Unified SIP Proxy (CUSP). Working knowledge of the following protocols: PRI, SIP, MGCP, TCP/IP, RTP, VoIP and G.711 & G.729 compression codecs. Supported and monitored the VoIP platform using SolarWinds VNQM.• Provision facility circuits to support 3 Data centers. Coordinate, install and test OC3, DS3, Gigabyte WAN, T1 data and voice circuits including SS7 links.• Created a low cost solution by replacing InfoVista Performance Manager and IBM Netcool with SolarWinds Network Performance Manager with a cost savings of over $300,000.• Security Compliance Manager - Administrator for SolarWinds Log and Event Manager (LEM) that supports Verizon's CPI810 compliance system which monitors all aspects of system/user activity throughout Verizon LiveSource network. Reported on any suspicious network activity and took corrective action when needed. • Team lead / Manager of 6 member Network / System team - Developed and facilitated a 25-week program to train staff on every aspect of Verizon LiveSource team responsibility using Cisco Webex. Created training manual with detailed procedures for supporting and maintaining LiveSource infrastructure.
