I currently serve as the Assistant Director of Mako Media Network - Nova Southeastern University’s student-run student media. Mako Media Network consists of Mako TV, Mako Radio, and Mako News (which produces the student-run newspaper, The Current).I completed my Master’s in Composition, Rhetoric and Digital Media at Nova Southeastern University in 2022. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Communication. I enjoy teaching my skills that I have acquired in my field, and I intend on sharing my skills within the realm of broadcast journalism with a major news station after I graduate.I worked at Nova Southeastern University's on-campus student media as Station Manager from 2017-2020. As Station Manager, I educate my fellow staff and practicum students about editing with the Adobe CS6 Suite, scripting in CeltX, filming with Cannon DSLRs and Sony HVR, and prop making for the videos that we produce for other clubs and organizations - as well as for our 24 hour television station.At Cooper City High School, I was involved in my school's Multimedia program since 2014. I have won Third Place at the Florida Scholastic Press Association (FSPA) District 7 On The Spot Broadcast Commentary competition in 2015. I am certified in Adobe Premiere and I am proficient in using Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator. I have made several Electronic News Gathering (ENG) segments and short videos over the years.
