As an Infantry Soldier, I am a highly trained marksman that also has skill in verbal conflict deescalation, establishing and securing a security perimeter, and have gained an unmatched level of leadership capability that can not be attained elsewhere.

As an Interior Firefighter, my duty is to respond to a multitude of fire alarms ranging from burnt food, to underwater search and rescue/recovery. My duties also include aggressive interior fire attack to protect life and property as well as serving as a Topman for our Underwater Search and Rescue/Recovery team. I have also served two terms as the Company Recording Secretary. Under the administrative role, my duty was to record minutes from all Executive Board and Company Meetings so that they can be typed in the proper format and filed accordingly. I also assist in training our Junior Firefighters so that they are able to be proficient in any task they are given. I am also a Chauffeur for the Department, responding to alarms operating different Fire Apparatus.
