The year 2017 makes it 20 years in the IT industry, til now all of it in the consulting/development side. Having started my IT training in 1996, I've journeyed through Business Analyst, QA Manager, Project Manager, Account Manager and Business Development roles allowing me to see the world from many perspectives. During that time the teams I've led and been a part of have developed Enterprise Web Sites, Intranets, CRM systems, portals, marketing automation systems, BI & analytics platforms and everything in between. The key lessons I've learned in that time are that: • To only strive for win/win or win & help win solutions • That total alignment around work ethic, team culture and team objectives to your client's needs is the best way to deliver value and develop great relationships • That building, trusting, empowering your whole team and making sure that everyone's voice is heard is vital to successNow in moving into a AVP role at Honda Canada where I'm responsible for the customer-facing side of IT.
