Humorist.I am a strategic and creative copywriter/creative director, with significant experience at large major-market ad agencies and smaller, more specialized firms. My work for consumer and business-to-business clients consists of diagnosing their marketing communications issues and executing creative materials to help resolve them. I am also an experienced college faculty member, teaching advertising, public relations and other communications courses. I want students to share the joy of a fascinating industry, and help them develop the skills they will need to succeed within it. Currently, I am enjoying doing just that at Central Michigan University, while continuing my advertising work with selected clients.Specialties: I am focused on doing good creative work and have won many awards in local, regional, and national competitions. Creativity matters, since work that goes unnoticed has no impact. But I also believe that without a meaningful strategic focus, it will make no difference in the marketplace.As a professional, I want my work to reflect that. As an instructor, I want my students' work to do the same.
