 Reporting directly to detention’s Captain and Lieutenants, managing 3 Supervisors and a team of up to 20 offenders in all aspects of food service duties. Directing and reporting on daily financial operations of facilities under contract to house and rehabilitate up to 500 low to maximum custody Douglas County inmates producing annual revenues in excess of $450,000 with full accountability for annual operating budgets, P&L analysis, and financial forecasts. Provide oversight for operations and management, maintenance, payroll, accounting, unit supply, food service, inventory control, hiring and training, scheduling, inmate training and risk management. Perform various financial analyses, investigate staff misconducts, and develop multi-disciplined management tools as directed by regional and corporate management. Develop and administer business management training sessions for all foodservice supervisors. Complete 40 + hours of safety and security training for the Douglas County Detention Center annually Work directly with Corporate and Facility dietitians to adhere to facility dietary needs ranging from consistent carb diabetic diets to food allergies and religious diets.
