Provide operational support and HSE guidance for green and brown field drilling program.

Analyzing training needs for the Process division, which include, the roaster, autoclave, wet mill, and Met Lab. Provide and Track Training for Maintenance and Electrical and Instrumentation groups. Update learning materials. Track learning history and facilitate filling skilll gaps of employees. Schedule learning events for varied staff. Communicate with vendors to provide training on many complex systems. Liaise with learning institutions to provide valid and successful learning outcomes. Strive for the success of all departments.

• Assess training requirements for drillers, driller assistants, and other field staff including field supervision. Consult with employees and local management about training needs.• Develop and implement training curricula that prepares new and current employees for safe and successful completion of work tasks.• Identify program improvements, material, vendor and delivery effectiveness.• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of training records, including identification and development of process/systems improvements.• Liaise with Supervisors to ensure that employees attend training as required.• Perform on-site observations frequently to assess training effectiveness.• Monitor national and local legislative developments to advise management accordingly.• Follow up on all recommendations from inspections and audits.• Facilitate 8 hour refresher, and 24 hour new miner safety training, as well as O.S.H.A 10 and 30 hour training.

• Perform regulatory compliance inspections and write reports for the Mine Safety and Training Section of the state of Nevada.• Perform accident investigations, mine rescue, and recovery for fatal and non-fatal accidents at mines in the Elko district for the Mine Safety and Training Section of the state of Nevada to be forwarded to the Governor’s office and MSHA.• Conduct 8 hour refresher, and 24 hour new miner safety training for small and large groups for the general public and area mines.• Provide compliance consultation for area mining contractors and area mines.

Manage over 300 employee training records for accuracy and compliance.• Mentor other District NDOT Instructors on curriculum and instruction of students.• Administer numerous equipment and safety orientation trainings, including Work Zone Traffic Control Training, and OSHA 10 and 30 hour safety training. • Third party Commercial Drivers license certifier.• Investigate and prepare accident and injury reports.• Assist and coordinate safety inspections with the NDOT Environmental Division and the Nevada State Fire Marshal.• District Hazardous Communications Coordinator.
