The project’s primary deliverable was the introduction of an Open System WM application to replace the antiquated iSeries-based system currently in operation throughout the Staples Delivery Network, including a representative Open Systems infrastructure to house it (spanned multiple Data Centers).• Managed the successful design and delivery of a new, custom Merchandising Promotions platform to create and manage Staples’ customer promotions (Java / Oracle RDB & Exadata) on a weekly, daily and ad hoc basis. This system was integrated w/ available Staple’s Website assets to provide maximum utility and business flexibility. The application was designed and developed using an Agile Framework to accelerate project delivery and provide incremental feedback to the product sponsors in two-week intervals.• Worked collaboratively with key business stakeholders to define, design and implement solutions to meet established business schedules to provide optimum value to Staples.• Responsible for all project related activities from project kickoff to post-implementation support including, but not limited to, resource allocation, project timeline creation and oversight (roadmap where applicable), status reporting, financial tracking and reporting, SDLC and SOX compliance, issue resolution and escalation, vendor management, deployment/implementation coordination and oversight.
