American Expedting is a ground logistics, warehousing and on-demand delivery operation. Specializing in Aviation Logistics, Logistics for Life Sciences & healthcare industries. Located in the El Segundo area of LA. I was responsible for the overall general management of the Los Angeles (LAX) office. I opened the Los Angeles market for the company. Day 1 of business is with just myself as the only employee. At the time of my departure from AMEX, the office was fully staffed with 3 dispatchers and 3 customer service represntaives. I also manage 10,000 sq feet of warehouse space, along with 2 loading docks. The AMEX Terminal is open 24/7. Additionally, I oversaw a fleet of over 25 trucks & vans.I was responsible for all aspects of business operation. I managed all pricing, margin of profitability on all work for the Los Angeles market. I would file weekly on-time reports to all clients to keep a line of communication, and to maintain quality customer service.I also manage all driver & office payroll each week. Reports are submitted the week before to guarantee all pay is correct & accurate.Los Angeles(LAX) office has grown in 2 years fI was there, from a ground floor operation to completing over 500 deliveries weekly

I assigned all sales territories, set goals, and established training programs for the company sales representatives. I also advised and mentored the sales representatives on ways to improve their sales performance, achieve goals and obtain expected quotas.My responsibilities as Operations Manager ranged from hiring all office personnel to managing a team of couriers. In my role with logistics operations I oversaw all warehouses and loading docks. I hired and organized employees who load and unload merchandise from delivery vans, trucks and even ships. I ensured that all products are delivered on time and in good condition. I was also responsible for billing and invoicing. I also was responsible for all driver payroll.

The camp provided officials with instruction that is currently being used at the various National, International and Professional Training Camps across North America. The camp has promoted numerous officials to work higher levels of hockey. Ar this camp dpzens of officials were able to gain the exposure to embark on a career in offciating. Through my vast network, every professional league in North America would have scouts attend to see the best officiating talent in the country.
