The British Chamber of Commerce South West China has been assisting the British business community in South West China since 1997. It is our goal to help our members foster trade and investment links in South West China and in the United Kingdom, and to promote the development of their business interests. While I am no longer a Director at the Chamber, I remain active in supporting Chamber activities.

Led the effort to set-up a brokerage business to showcase options trading software.

Hired to help build and launch a full service listed derivatives exchange. Involvement included the regulatory licensing, product development, incentive programs and marketing activities leading up to the launch of Eurex US. Was a member of the board of directors and responsible for sales and marketing personnel.

Created and managed electronic execution services in Europe and Asia. Responsibilities included oversight of sales staff during the migration from open outcry to screen-based trading. Created execution, marketing, and back office teams to service both internal and external brokerage clients while directing development and marketing of an electronic trading platform (Spider) and other related IT products. Other responsibilities included managing client relationships, IT and infrastructure development, finance and accounting, exchange relationships and regulatory compliance for a department of +100 employees
