With 7 years of services at West Yorkshire Cameras Ltd, dealing in analogue photographic equipment, as well as 15+ years of analogue and digital photography, I have amassed an eclectic background and knowledge base surrounding the area, in addition to many of its niches and have a deep love for photography as an art form, as well as its use as a storytelling tool. Due to the nature of the business, as well as the roles and projects I have undertaken during this time I have also developed a wealth of experience in darkroom and film photographic techniques, as well as an expert awareness in photographic equipment, repairs and maintenance. In my 6 years as manager with the company I have guided it to be highly respected and recognised in the field, which can also be reflected in our outstanding online reviews. Bolstered by consistently hitting targets, both in business growth, turnover and following, along with the personal development of my colleagues in their skills and knowledge. I take great pride in these achievements.

During the early stage of this time I built several contacts and a portfolio of work encompassing event and lifestyle photography, as an additional project until becoming full time after my departure from Hibiscus PLC to pursue the area more. This work mainly focused on event coverage and photography for businesses to use in promo/ social media content. Working alongside Independent Life Leeds I did much of the same under their banner and appeared in several of their magazines, Little Black Book of independent businesses, online and large scale photographs on the side of Kirkgate Market in Leeds to promote its development, alongside a spotlight article on my street photography projects at the time.

I joined the company as the Junior Mac Op., designing labels for the chemical and hazardous goods industry. While at the company I gathered a wealth of knowledge in proper safety precautions and procedures. Included in this position I also took role of the company photographer and videographer, encompassing project management, event coverage, advertising and general stock images.
