I've built & managed a client-facing SCADA system connecting more than 800 wind turbines over secure VPN connections to a cloud based server. The system includes security policies, user management, and maintenance applications that provide customers with the ability to remotely diagnose and resolve product issues. I've developed the tools and manuals for the company's field support operations, as well as customer-facing diagnostics and remote management of our product line. Present work involves integration with a CRM system to provide up-to-date product support information, hardware maintenance history and status, work report submission and regulatory-required reporting requirements.

Starting as the sole remote support engineer for a rapidly growing wind turbine manufacturer, I assisted engineers and technicians at our OEM partners to install and support more than 400 wind turbines in five countries. I transitioned the company's service business from my initial work in Excel into a full CRM system with more than a dozen technicians, engineers and writers supporting our customers. I've supported and trained internal and external engineers, technologists and technicians in four countries, led dozens of 'round the clock' remote support operations and developed most of the post-commissioning product support material for a 50kW wind turbine that succeeded as the market leader in our product class in the UK.As the lead product support specialist, I provided critical, time-sensitive feedback to customers, product designers and management on product performance, customer satisfaction and design requirements in FMEA, 8D, CR and NCR processes. I've developed and maintained metrics that highlighted improvements and opportunities that were critical to the product's success in an emerging market.
