POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the successful operations of projects and management of assigned personnel. Maintains ultimate responsibility for all assigned projects and direct reports. Provides mentoring support for department employees. Provides leadership to all members of the skill center for initiatives that improve quality, efficiency and resourcing. Assists in defining the vision for the department. Takes primary responsibility for the development and implementation strategies to actualize the goals of the skill center within the interactive environment of the overall corporation. PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:• Participates in defining a vision for the department which can be integrated into the overall corporate vision• Develops and implements strategies to actualize goals of the skill center• Integrates operational practices within the department across all offices• Integrates operations between DO and other departments to obtain increased productivity, efficiency and quality• Provides oversight and reporting of project progress and financial health• Directs efforts in data management project costing estimates and change order process• Participates in proposal and administration of the departmental budget• All other projects as assigned

• Responsible for global Data Management strategies and standards. Develops and implements quality management processes to improve overall departmental deliverables and cost effectiveness. Ensures international standards for systems and processes are in place and compliant. Build-out of US based DM team based on company growth and objectives.• Provide Global support to all staff in DM, technical, and experience support.• Create 30 training modules and conduct training sessions across departments (DM, MW, ClinOps, QA). Develop training matrix for all DM staff for SOPs.• Develop cost algorithm to reflect DM processes.• Train staff on algorithm and BD presentations.• Develop detailed proposal text for DM.• Implementation of EDC technology and processes in DM. Assist in Validation process for Oracle Clinical.• Provide India and US training in Key systems• Oracle Clinical for DM staff• TrialMaster EDC System• Framemaker for CRF development• Datalabs EDC system• Standardize titles and content of Job Description and Map job descriptions for DM to training requirements to meet global expectations.• Creation and implementation of new Data Management Plan and development of standard templates for DM practices.• Design filing and archiving specifications for Biometrics studies: process, inclusion, physical space.
