Michael Meola Email and Phone Number
I am a seasoned IT Portfolio and Program Management professional with 20 years of experience in the IT arena, 10 of which have been spent in a consulting role. I have spent my career establishing a broad base of experience in IT and have held positions all along the IT lifecycle, including project manager, QA test manager, programmer, DBA and system architect. This broad range of experience allows me understand impacts to the various departments and roles within an IT organization as well as effectively communicate with those resources. In the last decade, I have started three PMO or Portfolio Management departments and have consulted on improving and maturing numerous others. This experience has shown me that each organization is unique in how they make decisions on IT investments. I’ve also learned that the data needed for these decisions can change rapidly as organizations begin to mature and trends emerge. While I have not had the title of Program or Project Manager in all roles, each of them have required me to run large programs or projects that impacted multiple departments both within IT and external business customers. I have also led multiple project and portfolio management process improvement efforts. This experience has given me the ability to quickly understand a customer’s environment and develop a roadmap on how to address their major pain points while setting a solid foundation for future growth.
