I started PPC Communications as a print marketing company in 1998 and expanded into web development and design over the years to meet demand from our clients.In 2007, we created a custom, online scheduling system for one of our local web site clients, SWOBAT Sports Complex. (I’m a former college athlete and have two kids who are active in competitive sports, so I was already interested in their business model.)We quickly noticed how useful the system was. It made it easy for customers to pre-pay for cage rentals, improving cash flow. It sent email reminders about upcoming rental times, preventing late cancellations and no-shows. It also reduced administrative costs and added customer convenience.I knew that the tool would be a great help to other sports facilities, so I led my team to develop it into a robust scheduling and management system: eSoft Planner. eSoft Planner has continued to grow over the years and now serves many businesses across the country. I purchased what is now DNA Sports Center in 2010 to fill a need in my community for an elite sports training facility, as well as to provide a testing ground for eSoft Planner software. The staffs of DNA and eSoft Planner continue to work closely together to test the new features and understand the issues that sports facilities face. Many eSoft Planner staff also work at DNA and coach the baseball teams there.DNA stands for “Developing a New Athlete.” We are the home of the Parisi Speed School in Cincinnati and provide speed, strength, agility, and endurance training, starting with the youngest athletes. Through private instruction and athletic camps, athletes follow our fun and challenging programs to bust through their performance plateaus and attain a higher level of physical performance.
