Created a program with Bank of America and National Community Stabilization Trust in which BOA donated 1,800 REO single family homes to Veterans. Homes With Honors provided U.S. Military Veterans with affordable Housing. Brooke Community Development works with non-profit organizations to fulfill their housing missions. Brooke provided private resources including capital, construction services, and marketing skills to transform distressed real estate into productive housing for U.S. Military Veterans. Houses were3fully rehabbed and sold to qualifying Veterans at a 25% discount to appraised value. Additionally, about 10% of homes were donated to 100% disabled Veterans at no cost to the qualifying Veteran.
