Mike is a founding partner of HFM Architects, who are celebrating their 26th year in practice. www.hfm.uk.comMike leads the retail design team at HFM, and since 2000 has built an expertise in regenerating retail space within a number of shopping centres to satisfy the ever changing demands of high profile tenants, and maximising value of our client's portfolio.Major clients Mike is currently working for include Hammerson, Bride Hall and ReDefine International.Current projects include:- major remodelling scheme at Brent Cross to create a large double height retail space for an iconic IT brand - significant uplift to the main mall at The Oracle, Reading to give major tenants such a Topshop a double height shopfront which will dramatically increase their impact on the mall- creating three new major shop units at The Grosvenor Shopping Centre, Chester by remodelling one third of the existing space- forming four new restaurant units out of a redundant Habitat store, a listed Methodist Chapel, and a former garage premiseHFM also has a team of NBS Specification writers, helping large and small practices to document their projects for tender and construction.Mike has also tutored at Westminster University, mentoring architectural students through their Professional Practice Part 3 course, plus examining at the Architectural Association.
