I founded Morea Law to provide high quality employment and business law advice to small and medium sized business, which are typically under-served in the legal marketplace. I counsel clients on all aspects of the human resources issues their businesses face, as well as general corporate issues. I also handle employment litigation and business disputes.

At one of the state's largest law firms with 120+ lawyers and offices across NJ, NY, DE, MD, FL and TX, I advised on all employment-related issues, data privacy matters and statutory/contractual rights and obligations. I also prosecuted and defended numerous restrictive covenant and confidentiality actions, and worked diligently with partners and stakeholders in preparing case strategies, processes and budgets based on client's business objectives and resource constraints. I managed a team of Associates and Paralegals in large cases. Successful representative matters included:• Co-counseled Reebok in defense of breach of printing services contract and alleged breach of lease agreement.• Defended Volkswagen against allegations of unlawful discrimination based on disability in violation of NJLAD.• Represented medical practice group/owners in an action alleging sexual harassment. • Defended collective/class action suits asserting violations of NY Labor Law and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). • Prosecuted claims of unlawful discrimination on behalf of former limited partner of international restaurant chain. • Defended national dairy products manufacturer and senior executive in national origin discrimination suit.• Prosecuted claim for trademark infringement and cyber squatting on behalf of national limousine company.• Litigated claims in arbitration for breach of contract by Wall Street desk manager against former employer.• Counseled bankruptcy debtors-in-possession employers on wage/employment-related obligations.

At one of the nation's largest law firms devoted to civil defense litigation, I represented clients in the areas of employment discrimination, medical malpractice, construction defect, professional liability and personal injury. I was intimately involved in all aspects of significant cases, from drafting and arguing motions to handling depositions and discovery to preparing for and conducting trials.

In this full-service law firm, I represented local government and private clients in a wide range of matters, including land use, real estate transactions, business disputes, and litigation.In addition to providing expertise in drafting motions and pleadings, arguing discovery-related and dispositive motions, and conducting paper discovery and depositions, I was regarded for my counseling capacity and advised local Zoning Boards on legal issues relating to variance and other board applications.

I cut my teeth in the judicial system here, gaining significant exposure to the many aspects of litigation. I served as advisor to the Superior Court Judge on hundreds of dispositive and discovery related motions across a broad spectrum of case matters, including breach of contract, personal injury and business disputes. In addition, I drafted opinions, researched evidentiary trial issues, and mediated Small Claims and Special Civil Part disputes.
