I am the Chief Information Security Officer at Sytorus Ltd, a Data Protection consultancy, based out of Dublin. I am responsible for info sec controls around our product, PrivacyEngine, as well as all associated business processes, internally. I work closely with our global enterprise clients by providing my expertise and technical capabilities to build out holistic, measurable privacy programs, based on scalable use cases, with a particular focus on implementation of technical solutions for privacy and information security compliance.I have worked across all sectors, with particular focus on Technology, Medical, Military, Charities, Government and Digital Advertising. Project work has involved conducting strategic DPIAs to implementation of international privacy programs from the ground up.I possess a rare level of in-depth knowledge across both privacy and information security legal, operational and technical concerns.I am a certified Cyber Risk Officer, Data Privacy Solutions Engineer and Data Protection Practitioner, with expertise in Data Protection Privacy-based audits, implementation and training. I have conducted and overseen risk audits and remediation work for GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA et al.I have acted as Interim Chief Information Security Officer for a number of technology companies, in particular where there was a requirement to implement an ISMS for ISO 27001 certification.I am also certified in the Innovation Value Institute's IT-CMF methodology and I am an assessor for the Information Security Management maturity capability, as well as providing direct expertise in implementation of best practice, with particular focus on third party security and governance, for enterprise clients.
