About Mike Moulder

I am a Non-Executive, Chair and Board Advisor with over three decades of board-level experience covering Europe, USA and Asia in education, technology, logistics, manufacturing NGOs, non-profit companies and helping companies entering new markets. In an executive capacity, I am a finance, marketing, sales, HR, operations, finance and risk management expert. I am currently Visiting Professor at ESSCA, Director of Academic Studies at PPA. Previously, at the European Commission, I was CFO of Eurojust, one of its three direct agencies. Here, in addition to my full-time role, I was also pro bono Chairman of the PDN, a NED/Chair role whose objective was to harmonise the activity-based management approach, pioneered in Eurojust across the 39 agencies. Earlier, I was the CFO & SVP Strategy at Hyperknowledge Group.At board level, I drive business growth with a focus on strategic development, finance raising and governance. I do that by bringing substantial applied finance and analysis experience providing a depth of expertise in finance, marketing, sales, HR, operations, finance, and risk management, as well as academia, having worked extensively within the UK and European universities.Board level highlights include: Non-Executive of Viewpoint, Best Step Forward, Hyperknowledge Group, Chair of PDN Committee (Performance Development Network) at the European Commission and at PPA Grande Ecole. Took political care in selection of committee members to ensure key agencies represented, rolled out to six agencies, then further to others Communicated carefully both upwards and sideways to ensure success. Success at an important Commission Meeting with All Agencies, they made a point of thanking me publicly for my work and a round of applause; - Also repeated this success as Chairman, Commission Interagency CAAR (2011). Aim of this Committee was to standardise annual reports of agencies, to replace a confusing myriad of different reporting formats, definitions currently found in agencies etc. Achieved success in two years. Again, formed a Committee of six with very different backgrounds and aspirations, but was able to get the best out of them. Achieved success.
