Buyer Planner for a food processor, chemical plant and a print plant for the state of Tennessee. Purchases all supplies and analysis of contracts for eah plant. Tricor provides products and services to TDOC and other state agencies.

Developed contracts and supply chain solutions for processors, restaurant chains and buying group customers. Also monitors contracts for compliance by all parties.

Developed contracts and purchasing solutions for a private custom food processor that resulted in more than a 10% reduction in product cost which resulted in improved cost accounting and profitability. Also worked as part of the R&D team in developing cost effective products for both foodservice and retail accounts. Also managed inventory of 800 plus items for Choice Foods, who is a sister company of Chairman’s Foods.

Responsible for developing purchasing programs and inventory control solutions on multiple perishable product categories for national accounts in three regional distribution centers and a manufacturing facility which resulted in a 20% increase in profits. Worked with corporate clients purchasing and operations to achieve cost savings thru consolidating purchasing, contracting, contract compliance, and inventory turns. Worked with Lawson software and other AS400 based software. Also works with business partners to drive out cost at all levels by developing new products, transportation alternatives, and packaging that benefit all of the parties involved.

Responsible for purchasing, inventory control, pricing, and profitability of $45 million in various product lines including perishable produce commodities, fresh meat, and non foods category in four regional distribution centers that serviced over 1000 company and franchise restaurant locations. Interacted on a daily basis with vendors at a national level developing business partnerships that were beneficial to meeting and exceeding the annual and long-term goals of the company. Excels at diverse vendor relationships as a fine negotiator that understands the products and dynamics of the supplier/purchaser partnership that results in increased profitability.
