Duties Included; • Responsible for the delivery of the civil capital program, • Directly supervise construction management team, • Project management, Significant Achievements; • Design, documentation and implementation of a new Risk Management process for Civil Works,• Re-design of Councils panel contracts leading to a 10-20% drop in tendered prices for some categories including the supply and lay of Asphalt,• Successful completion of each years civil works program,• Project management from design to completion of civil marquee projects such as Picton Sportsground at Fairleys Rd Picton, reconstruction of Silverdale Rd at Baines Hill and Remembrance Dr at Razorback (both under the federal Black Spot Program), plus numerous bridge replacements including a sliding structure (to accommodate future mine subsidence) at Douglas Park

Duties Included; • direct management of internal and external works crews in the maintenance and construction of council civil infrastructureSignificant Achievements; • Widening and reconstruction of Otford Rd, Otford and Williamson St Tarrawanna. • First co-ordinator to work out of all three Council Depots, instigated and chaired cross-depot meetings to benchmark common issues (such as performance reviews)

Duties Included; • project manage the floodplain risk management process for a number of catchments, • project manage the design and documentation of flood mitigation civil works and • the development of catchment specific planning controlsSignificant Achievements; • Completion and adoption of the Hewitts Creek & Towradgi Creek Flood Studies and Floodplain Risk Management Studies (the first catchment studies to be adopted by WCC under the NSW Government Floodplain Management Policy). • Completion and adoption of the Development Control Plan (#54) for the development of flood prone land.

Duties Included; • Civil Engineer responsible for the design, documentation, contract administration and construction supervision of a broad range of land development and infrastructure projects, • hydrologic and hydraulic modelling of flood studies and flood mitigation projectsSignificant Achievements; • Design and documentation of the Yallah Freeway interchange to (the then) Roads and Traffic Authority specifications.• Design and documentation of subdivisions including Haywards Bay (Yallah), Cordeaux Heights• Hydrologic and hydraulic modelling for the Hewitts Creek Flood Study and Floodplain Risk Management Study for Wollongong City Council
