After nearly four years at Dudley Integrated Health Care Trust this Trust has closed with services transferring to DGFT and BCH. The long term goal was to turn these companies into stable organisations delivering real value to our clients and shareholders alike.To achieve this goal the following have been delivered;- Developed, constructed and delivered Glebefields Health Centre into a fully operational facility;- Developed, constructed and delivered Portway Lifestyle Facility a combined health, leisure and well-being centre into a fully operational facility;- Managed the refurbishment and reconfiguring of Neptune Health Park;- Implemented an action plan to address shortcomings in the delivery of the facility management contact/s;- Addressed significant ongoing defects to bring the facilities into a steady state;- Worked closely with the Management Accountants to enhance the financial status of each organisation;- Established a clear business plan for the future development of the business;- Supported the creation and development of the strategic estate groups across Greater Manchester with Community Health Partnerships;- Procured and delivered utilisation surveys across LIFT and NHS PS properties (NHS Property Services) in support of the strategic estate groups; and- Most importantly enhanced the working relationships between the company and its clients.Whilst the country has been through a challenging period due to the austerity measures, there has been significant improvement in the above organisations. These improvements are not only in terms of their operational capability, the quality of the facilities delivered but also in terns of their financial strength and most importantly reputation. My role was to lead the commercial team in providing an effective development process across the Primary Plus Estate. This included implimenting effective cost controls, robust commercial reporting systems and standardising the contract documentation where possible. This role also included being seconded to the parent company to manage, develop and submit the Health section of a BSF bid which was successful

My role was to manage a team developing seven health centres across North Nottingham to achieve, with the Project Company, the financial close of these schemes.
