Serves as Logistics Management Specialist within the, Plans and Operations Division (POD), Logistics Readiness Center - Honshu (LRC-H), Japan. Assume responsibility as acting Chief, of POD when authorized in the absent of the POD Chief. Coordinate and interact directly with Higher Headquarters on strategic, operational and tactical requirements. Responsible for the management of several logistics programs and installation support functions. Provides taskers to Maintenance, Transportation, Supply and Services, Resource Management, and Administration Office. Responsible for logistics award, training programs, property accountability, security, Hazardous Material Management Program (HMMP), Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL), Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP), Information Technology (IT), and automated accountable systems. Develops Standard Operation Procedures, Memorandum of Agreements, Support Agreements, Operations Orders, and Fragmentary Orders. Directly supervises six Master Labor Contractors (MLC) / Local National (LN).
