I was the supervisor of a logistics team of 12 men employed at the Open Golf Championship at Royal Liverpool Golf Club. The role of the team was to organise the movement of heavy goods vehicles to and from the construction sites at the venue in such a way as to ensure efficient deliveries on site and minimise disruption to local residents and traffic flow. Our secondary role was site security. I was responsible for shift rotas, deployment of staff and administration in addition to direct involvement in the operation
