Professional Geologist with more than 20 years of experience in environmental project management. As Director of PSARA’s Environmental Assessment Services, has extensive underground storage tank (UST) and environmental due diligence experience with project sites spanning much of the continental U.S. Extensive knowledge of UST regulations, state petroleum trust funds, and has conducted UST closures or managed leaking UST investigations in ten states. Have also managed teams of technical document reviewers and claims reviewers on behalf of the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) Excess Liability Trust Fund (ELTF) Program. While at the IDEM, participated in policy-making discussions regarding claim reimbursement, investigation techniques and guidance, closure levels, and risk-based site evaluation and closure of LUST sites. Also, has extensive experience with subsurface investigations and remediation technologies used in the cleanup of chlorinated compounds and petroleum constituents in a variety of hydrogeologic settings throughout the South and Midwest United States.
