Managed outbound shipments from Lakewood, to Alaska, Montana and Utah. Supervised 89 Transportation drivers and 56 Distribution employees. Converted PNW Transportation dispatching to a 4 day per week delivery format, saving 15-20% in fuel expenditures, wages and fleet mileage.Created a universal format for reporting of KPI’s for the BU Distribution team to improve the overall data accuracy, which is still in place. Reduced corrugate cost by $96 thousand annually and wage costs by $40 thousand.
