As a COO/CFO, I planned and directed all operational and financial activities at the highest level of management. This involved coordinating financial and budgeting activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency. It also involved analyzing operations to evaluate the performance of the organization and its staff in meeting objectives and to determine any areas of potential cost reduction, program improvement, or policy change. I conducted human resources activities, including the selection, hiring and training of staff. In addition, I negotiated and approved contracts and agreements with suppliers, distributors, and other organizational entities and I oversaw inventory control making sound decisions regarding purchasing and marketing campaigns.
