GeoPhysical survey with CPT, SPT and Geobore Drilling.Seabed clearance utilising ROV.I continue to maintain my specialism in Strategic and Tactical Command, had a role as a Command Advisor to EU Projects, qualified NILO Tactical Advisor and Maritime SAR Operations, UK and International Flood Rescue Command & Operations including joint UK/US operations.I worked for Cleveland Fire Brigade from 1988 until 2018 in the role of Area Manager Response & Resilience. I have an extensive operational background and have managed a broad range of functions and departments. I am now the Lifeboat Operations Manager at Redcar Lifeboat Station after spending 34 yrs in a sea going role.Until recent organisational changes I was a member of the RNLI National and International Flood Rescue Teams. I have experienced several significant deployments to flood events including the disaster at Cockermouth in 2009. I have attended international training in North Carolina working with US Fire, NCHART and US Army personnel where I commanded a 20 strong team.I have spent 37 years in the emergency services and as a result I am a seasoned professional at managing emergency response at Strategic and Tactical levels in the Fire Service or the Flood and Maritime SAR environment.I have a proven track record of Departmental, Functional, Project and Staff management and the development of Strategy and Policy across a range of organisational functions.
