Was a key member in starting this roof consulting firm which was known as ARCON. We grew from a three man operation to a company with approximately 20 full time employees within a short period of time. In 2001 the firm merged with IRT located in Ft Lauderdale I managed a technical staff that did work from New Jersey to Puerto Rico to 5 countries in Africa, Uzbekistan, Poland, and Armenia. Office generated approximately 40 percent of the IRT-ARCON’s volume.• Ran northeast and overseas operations which included a mixed staff of administrative and technical personnel• Obtained a “Secret” level security clearance in order to do work on US Department of State IDIQ contract for Roof Consulting Work. Was critical member in small 3-man team assembled to complete a fast track multi-building project for DC Schools under the Department of Public Works. It was completed in 3-months. Net marginal return to the company was 45 percent with an after-tax return of 12 percent. Promoted to Senior Roof Consultant and then Division Manager. As Division Manager, headed up projects that ranged up to 150 buildings and established a reputation for providing a high-quality service, completing projects ahead of schedule and under the operational budget constraints.
