Chilli IT are an IBM Premier partner and a managed service provider. My responsibilities at Chilli included managing the whole sales cycle from initial engagement through to the closing of business and account management, meeting with new business prospects to discuss requirements, current issues and business pains, discussing upgrade paths available from their current versions to new POWER infrastructure available which will provide an ROI and lower TCO, presenting to senior and board level decision makers and then creating and presenting proposals. I also developed a close relationship with the marketing department working on projects such as creating a sales and marketing business plan to focus on new areas to develop into, ensure business growth and align marketing activities and campaigns accordingly.I also put a key emphasis on working closely with IBM and our 3rd party partners to enhance our service offerings and securing funding to work on joint campaigns, working closely with the technical team on opportunities for pre sales, implementation strategies and also to help further my own knowledge. I also worked closely with the marketing team to plan, assist with design and follow up on email lead generation campaigns.
