The past five years I have been the lead architect and SME for the GP Pensions and Payments solution for Capita delivering to the NHS. This involves making payments to all GP Practices in a timely and accurate manner across both Practices and PCNs. The solution also recovers the pension contributions for employees and employers against any income due to a GP Practice. The solution processes payment in excess of £5billion p.a. The solution is self service for end user input with a back office in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. I work very closely with senior members of NHSE to understand new policy as and when it arrives to enable impacts and deliverabilty levels.The previous ten years I was the lead Architect and Subject Matter Expert for the Secondary User Service (SUS) which delivers Data warehouse capability to the NHS. SUS also provides Payment by Results processing which accounts for £40BN of the NHS budget. I am recognised as a leading expert in PBR as I have now completed implementation of 8 financial years of policy changes all of which were delivered on time without defects.The chnaging organisation structure of the NHS is a major piece of my current workload and developing systems that will support these changes.
