CurrentProvides strategic direction and oversight for the 36-sport athletic department with more than 1,000 student-athletes and 1,700 full and part-time employees.Currently serves as the lead administrator for the department’s facility operations, capital projects and athletic district development; event management, championships, and camps; technology, video, photography and audio services; communications; digital media; marketing and live events.Oversees and manages all facets of 6 varsity athletic programs (men’s and women’s tennis, men's and women's swimming and diving, softball, synchronized swimming); including planning and well-being of 150 student-athletes, 20 coaches and support staff within Academics, Budget, Compliance, Development, Equipment, Facilities, Mental Health, Recruiting, Scheduling, Sports Performance. Evaluate coaches based on their objectives and goals; provide coaches feedback and support throughout the year.Provide performance management and goal setting for 10 direct reports; oversee 110 full time staff and 1400 part time staff.Provides leadership for $250 million+ of capital projects; hosted 150+ championships; managed 150+ events in the 100,000-seat Ohio Stadium.Serves on department and university committees (12+) as an advocate and advisor, representing Department of Athletics. Past President of the Collegiate Event and Facility Management Association (CEFMA) and was selected as the inaugural CEFMA/GameDay Consulting Event & Facility Manager of the Year award recipient. Taught classes in Ohio State’s Fisher College of Business in the Sport Management program and has given dozens of presentations on various event topics at national and regional conferences and local universities. The Cleveland native now resides in Upper Arlington, Ohio with his wife Stephanie, daughter Kaylie (10) and son Zachary (8).
