My interest in programming started with QBasic games and quickly moved to Visual Basic exploring a passion for graphical user interfaces on Windows based systems. As a result of this passion I wrote several Point of Sale and Inventory Management systems. These applications were used in my own computer repair company, a friend's video rental company and a related dry cleaning company with additional features added over several years to handle additional tracking of external customer inventory as it passed through the system. From there I transitioned into professional work supporting and quickly taking a leadership position on a CNC automation suite. This suite of applications takes customer measurements using image processing and through a series of steps creates a 3D model and associated machining instructions to bring it to life. I am looking to grow in my career as a software engineer with opportunities to create data handling and visualization applications.
