I was commissioned in 1982 as a distinguished graduate of the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Air Force ROTC Program. A 30 year career intelligence officer, I commanded a squadron, group, and an AF Agency (wing equivalent) and as the Director of Intelligence, 13th Air Force, PACAF. I also served in numerous intelligence staff positions to include a deployment as Special Advisor for the Special Representative to the Secretary General (SRSG), United Nations Mission in Kosovo. My last active duty assignment was as Commander of the Air Force Intelligence Analysis Agency (AFIAA), Pentagon, Washington DC.Attended all levels of military education in residence (Squadron Officers School, Naval War College, and National Defense Fellowship at Georgetown University; fully certified as joint specialty officer.I am JMark's Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer. Since 2009, Mike has led a strategic transformation of the firm, investing in innovation, advanced education and training technologies, and highly skilled talent, and reshaping its portfolio toward mission-critical, high-margin solutions. The company is now positioned in the defense, intelligence, civil, and global commercial markets as a leader for advanced learning techniques and applications and key technology differentiators that has driven significant revenue and earnings growth in recent years. For more than a decade, Mike has led the company through major strategic initiatives, including the development and establishment of the International Center for Security and Leadership (ICSL) that JMark leads and integrates with other national think tanks such as the Council of Foreign Relations and the USAF Academy. Mike has also led JMark into global business areas, expanding into international and commercial markets. In 2015, he led an initiative that refreshed JMark’s values and defined its purpose statement—Empowering people, Transforming Minds, and Ensuring Success.
