Projects:- Department for International Development (DIFID): As part of a project run by Agylia, organised and added content into an online e-manual so that DIFID staff and associated contractors can easily find and learn the appropriate information required to enable them to work effectively on a project.- Microsoft: Nationwide's Voyager project - documentation for their upgraded faster payment system. - Enterprise Study: www.enterprisestudy.com working on their extensive Learning Management System- NHS Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC): Online help document to enable HSCIC operations team to learn the General Practice Extraction Service (GPES) UI.

Key responsibilities included:• Providing strategic consultancy services to assist clients in planning and deploying new technology and educational methodologies.• Researching and writing technical and business focused white papers and case studies.• Specifying and creating high quality educational, and reference material for IT technical, Designers/Architects and IT sales/marketing business professionals for delivery in ILT and eLearning based formats.• Delivering technical consultancy to clients.• Delivering Teaching Courses (previously written) for QA Training.• Developing the extensive online help for Content Masters commercial eLearning development tool set Luminosity.

Key responsibilities included:• Identifying the technologies and skill sets to focus on and for which to develop training material.• Designing, developing/authoring technical training courses and seminars – both standard and customised – primarily for Microsoft, for classroom traditional Instructor led and eLearning delivery. Also delivered 100s of hands-on Instructor led training courses and technical seminars to organizations, in the UK and abroad covering a broad range of technical areas. • Liaising with corporate customers to understand and analyse their training and re-skilling requirements, providing strategic consultancy services to assist clients in planning and deploying new technology and educational methodologies and programs. • Underpinning the sales model provisioning; acting as a subject matter expert in pre-sales and bid work to support sales personnel.• Creating corporate training programmes for companies such as, ABN Amro, Alliance and Leicester, Arthur Andersen, AstraZeneca, British Airways, British Telecommunication, BAE Systems, Bank of New York, Chase Manhattan, Deutsche Bank, Intel, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Norwich Union.• Identifying and bringing on boarding new technical personnel to expand and grow the company.

Delivery of training courses, lecturing throughout the UK and Intel locations in Europe and the US.

Design of microprocessor-based projects, from developing designs based on requirements specifications through to managing the resultant implementation.Project example: jointly managed a project team of 10 software/hardware engineers that designed and implemented a simulator for the DOD Searchwater Military Airborne Radar System (used in the Nimrod aircraft). This simulator provided a realistic operational environment (except for motion) for training three radar operators concurrently. The hardware included approximately 20 microcomputer circuit boards and 24 custom-designed digital circuit boards; the software was written in Coral and Assembler.
