Later in career I'm looking at turning my collection of historical espionage artefacts into the first such museum in the Southern Hemisphere and Asia.I've taken this idea to Western Sydney University's "Launchpad" startup accelerator and been accepted into the program. I'll be working on a feasibility plan for a museum, and looking for corporate and government sponsors to help stand up an MVP or proof of concept exhibition.Spy museums are both entertaining and educational, providing an impactful way to help explain the evolution of espionage into cyber, and the complex and evolving modern threat landscape. Cryptography in particular fuses maths, languages, engineering, process and major world events - students LOVE the Spy Museum!In the meantime, I do "show and tell" talks at cyber conferences. As front line defenders, cyber people immediately "get" what this collection is about. Yes, there's great gadgets, but the real value is a better appreciation for the origins of ccomputing and cyber.
