I oversee the crews and evaluate each position on a daily basis to ensure that we are getting the best person for the job; I also prepare rundowns & scripts for cast and crew and execute live shows as Producers envision while keeping the shows technically sound to achieve error-free programs; evaluate shows daily; making corrections/adding new ideas or suggestions. I provide leadership for cast & crew and act as a representative of FOX Sports Midwest with outside venues, making sure the high standard Fox Sports has come to represent are maintained. I work with Fox Sports L.A. to implement new elements and features to live events and studio shows; coordinate with Network Operations Center; schedule recordings and dub requests. In addition to my directing duties I also utilize Avid Media Composer for editing features and sports specials as needed. As a team leader it is my responsibility to do whatever is needed to make any show I am involved with the best show it can be.I received a Mid-America Emmy Award at the 40th Annual Emmy Awards this year in the category of Director for a St Louis Blues show.I have several regional Emmy nominations and I have won three Emmys for directing, 2013 and 2018 and 2019. I directed and edited short product shows that aired throughout the day every day. These shows either aired in combination with the launch of a new product or as a soft sell to help push the last of a product out the door. My employment with HSN started as a Live Show Director. I worked ten hour shifts rotating through every position in the crew but most of the day was spent directing and Technical Directing (calling and punching at the same time).

I was responsible for technical directing all local production that came through our studio (i.e. coaches shows, daily news for Pittsburgh and Midwest, news specials, High School and college shows). I also Directed Fox Sports Midwest pre and post game shows. I utilized Avid Media Composer to produce opens and teases and music videos as well as daily topical promos. I ran audio for assigned shows and I would input and operate the ticker ribbon on the bottom of the screen for our local shows.
