Functional lead for the US Foods distribution center based supply chain operations. Directly responsible for operation of 60 warehouse and transportation locations that service over 250,000 customers with 350,000 products. This is accomplished with the help of 13,000 drivers, selectors, and support employees. Distribute products from 16 million sq ft of distribution space and utilize a captive fleet of 13,000 trucks, trailers and vans for deliveries. Annual network operating expense budget of +$1.5 billion and annual capital spend of +$200 million for fleet, facilities, and maintenance

Worked directly with each of the CEO’s staff members on their respective transformational efforts. Led the program management office for key projects that were part of the transformation of the US Foods into a “Great American food company focused solely on foodservice”. Program management included the following major initiatives: Street Sales Force Coverage, Category Management, Cash & Carry Stores, Strategic Vendor Management, National Sales Coverage, Centralized Replenishment, Master Data Management, “Fresh” Strategy, and Pricing/Data Insights

Role included finance oversight for all field based operations. This encompasses 1,500 finance employees and 80 locations (Broadline operations, Stockyards Meat Packing, and Culinary Equipment and Supplies) Primary activities: accounting, SOx controls, local credit, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, financial analysis, margin management, contract administration, payroll, and inventory control.
