He is a chartered architect by background with over 30 years in the construction industry. Prior to joining Skanska in 2008 and prior to specialising in Design Management, he spent over 21 years with BAM Construction, operating exclusively in the design and build sector, working closely with ‘signature’ architects and concept designers, coordinating and developing their designs through the production information stage to completion and handover.Projects sectors include commercial office developments such as Forbury Square in Reading and Brindleyplace in Birmingham for Argent; large retail developments such as Broughton Park near Chester for Development Securities and superstores for Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Asda; and also within the public sector with projects such as crown courts and The Royal Court extension for the States of Guernsey.He is currently senior Design Manager for Skanska Construction UK on the refurbishment of commercial offices at The Cottons Centre and No1 London Bridge, part of the London Bridge City development, for St Martins Property Corporation.
