I make things happen in the public and private sector. I work in complex political environments where change is constant, partnerships are complicated with conflicting needs but still expectations of delivery are high. I deliver, whether the project is a large scale event, developing a strategy, solving a complex problem or supporting young people to progress in life.Fundamental to what I do is building partnerships between the private/business and public sector, often with organisations that aren't used to working together with cultures that don't always mesh well. I can work with all levels of staff from senior leaders to front line staff. I enjoy working in this way and successfully bridge the gap between cultures. The main sectors that I work in are careers and skills, ensuring that people are prepared for productive lives . I am however a great learner and quickly adapt to the demands of different spheres of work. I have been involved in capital projects, developing funding streams, creative employment, coastal communities and event management. I am involved in supporting the skills and employment needs of several major projects including the London Resort and Manston Airport.I have to lead strategy and projects across a range of organisations rather than a single team. This forces me to be flexible, creative and highly skilled at motivating/persuading people.Personally I am passionate, energetic, creative, outcome focused and inspire trust. In my spare time I am a freelance jazz trombonist.
