Senior Analyst Engineer
• Working to develop modules for ICON web portal site which permitted external users to resolve data queries raised in ICOLIMS which is the company’s internal LIMS system. This eliminated the need for the sites to reach out directly to ICON Site Support staff to update this information manually into the system and thereby removing system holds on lab reports• Developed a sample tracking module to allow internal and external personnel to track the current status and location of all samples received into the ICOLIMS system, including those which were not currently stored at ICON (in transit, or samples shipped to referral labs)• Worked on a team with ICOLIMS and STARLIMS development teams to collaborate with business analysts to help implement API web project to allow communication between ICOLIMS system (ICON internal LIMS system) and STARLIMS system (external facing web LIMS system) to allow ICON lab users to process samples into STARLIMS system which are received from ICOLIMS system. STARLIMS system would return test results back to ICOLIMS system which would generate patient lab reports to be delivered back to sponsor sites as they are available.• Worked with team of developers to implement ICOLIMS database upgrade from Oracle 12c to 19c • Worked with a team of developers to replace existing ICOLIMS build deployment tool with Jenkins pipeline process • Worked with ICON development and management to switch from waterfall development model to Agile development model. This included changing over from bi-monthly software releases to performing 3-4 week releases cycles and switching over to Confluence and JIRA systems for documentation and bug tracking systems• Managed Staging/Validation/Production deployments for ICOLIMS system which involved collaborating with multiple departments to coordinate competing priorities which included server maintenance that occasionally needed to be performed in same time window.
