About Mike Reddy

I am the team leader of the mainframe hardware team. We work with hardware vendors to install, maintain, configure, and demo any and all mainframe hardware systems and connectivity at Fidelity Investments.Some platforms and configurations we support:zSeries hardware connectivity (SM/MM/Copper) design and implementation, logical configuration of mainframe systems. Including HMA/HMC configuration, OSA and RoCE, FICON, ICA, OSA-ICC, STP CTN, etc.Brocade FICON director installation, configuration, hardware break/fix, channel PD and fiber optic cable scoping, FOS management, SAN NAV Admin, etc. Including SX6 blade configuration and IPEX technology.Connectivity for storage platforms such as IBM TS7700 virtual tape and DS8000 disk. FICON cable path design and implementation, port configuration, Grid link connectivity, metro and global mirror, global copy connections, etc. TCT setup and implementation.Full logical Configuration and installation of IBM DASD DS8K and Virtual Tape TS7700 subsystems, including SKLM/GKLM and LDAP security settings, license management, etc.Prior experience includes tape mounting, 3420 to 3490E, silos from STK, then console operator with REXX skills and some SAS. Experience with JCL, JES2, MVS, zOS, etc working 15 years in mvs support and ISV software support. NETVIEW, MAINVIEW, RMF, CA7, CA11, CHANGE ACTION, and much more.
