Roles and Responsibilities:• Responsible for procurement and strategy of Jet Fuel for the Cathay Pacific Group at locations in the Hong Kong Hub and globally. • Annual purchase of approx. 1,950 Million Gallons of jet fuel per annum for Cathay Pacific Group from Oil Majors, National Refineries and Jet Fuel Traders. • P & L responsibility for spend of circa USD 3.5 Billion per annum (Based on October 2017 prices)• Responsible for management of the local supply chains at Cathay Pacific locations in the Hong Kong Hub and the Rest of the World. • Lead the joint fuel purchasing initiative with Air China/ Air China Cargo and Oneworld • Oversight of the strategic PAFF jet fuel storage depot at Tuen Mun as Airline representative.Achievements:• Proven savings of USD 66.9 Million over the last 8 years.• Modernizing the Cathay Jet Fuel Contracts and General Terms & Conditions.

Roles and Responsibilities:• Responsible for Carbon Black Feedstock (CBFS) procurement strategy for Cabot’s European region. ( Up to 950kt of Raw Material and purchase with annual spend up to USD$500M)• Annual Inventory Budget Control for Carbon Black Feedstock • Managed a European Raw Material Planning & Logistics Management Team and supply chain for Carbon Black Feedstock for on-time delivery • Managed Cabot Global Business Process Improvement Team (BPIT) and member of Business Performance Excellence (BPE) Team.• Managed the chartering and all operations / administration of more than 250 sea vessels / barges per annum. Achievement: • Proven savings of USD 3.814M in last fiscal year and with an average annual savings of USD 5.884M over the last seven years.• Reduced Inventory Days Cover from 31 days to 15 days through the aggressive use of consignment stock techniques. • Extended payment terms for raw materials from average 30 days to average 45 days.• Drove saving of > 10%/ GBP 2M per annum by moving up the supply chain of Cabot chartering sea freight • Designed and implemented the pan-European Raw Material Planning and Delivery Management programme which is still in use today.Additional Role: • Member of the European Senior Management Leadership Team and also a member of the European Risk Management Team.
