About Mike Ring

I am currently at Rising Sun Pictures in Adelaide building rigs and writing tools for our animation & layout teams. My work to date ranges from complex props/vehicles to digital doubles and some non-humanoid rigs. I am also honing my skills in Python, PyQt & SVN and have been involved in managing our motion capture projects as well as some creature simulations. I really love learning about the VFX pipeline and helping people troubleshoot & find efficiencies in production. On the side I lead up our voluntary Social & Community Team to help build community at RSP. I think creating a space where people feel a sense of belonging is really important at work and it’s one of the things that really defines RSP as a company. 🎥✨💕
