I am a multi-disciplined engineer with 20 years of experience in both the field and office environment. I am experienced in leading field operations relating to control systems and startup operations on multiple platforms. I have worked on everything from chemical reactor controls design and maintenance to steam bypass systems on combine cycle power plants. I am experienced in both electrical and instrumentation for all environments and classifications-I have been the lead DCS controls engineer for multiple thermal power projects worldwide on both the GE Mark VI and Mark VIe systems.GE – Mark VI software development. I have written tools for GE to upgrade older version of the Mark VI platforms to utilize features available new versions. I wrote the modifications for the automatic start of the plant for the prototype GE 9H turbine facility in Baglan Bay. I also worked closely with Chief Engineers on problems found in various release of the original Mark VI programming software.GE- I have also acted at the warranty engineer to repair issues found within the software for various combined cycle plants around the world for GE. Resolving such issues as gas flow calculations and totalization Intel- PLC Programmer. Programmed and conducted FAT for air handler units, part of the vacuums systems, and part of the ultra pure water system for Intel’s FAB 22. Startup of the ultra pure water system. Phoenix, AZ. Programmed and FAT of boiler systems and chilled water systems using Devicenet and Control Logix at Intel’s FAB 23. Wrote the Sequence of Operations document for the Boiler system.
