Penn West Exploration (Heavy Oil / Cyclic Steam)Project Coordinator / Operator• Manage and maintain day-to-day operation of wells, pipelines and processing facilities as well as backup for Production Supervisor and managing special projects• Take care of chemical programs and pigging of pipelines.• Oversee and help with all maintenance jobs in field to ensure the highest standards are met and followed.• Approve and assign work orders to various trades.• Assist in identifying causes of failures and making appropriate recommendations.• Trouble shoot process and equipment problems.• Follow ERCB, Alberta Environment and Regulatory guide lines.• Inspect and recertify Emulsion tanks.• Implement Safety and Environment programs and policies as required.• Help with Ground Disturbance digs as well as smart pigging• Work closely with trade’s people in field to ensure all work orders are followed and work is completed correctly.Operations Experience- Tier 1 inspection - Pigging - Supervise Contractors - Work with chemical vendors - Fluid Shots - Commissioning and well start ups- Inspect Tanks - Optimization - Well maintenance.
