As a managing partner in a small business, engaged in all essential duties of the business, crossing strategic and tactical business planning, network and call center operations, sales and marketing.

A venture to establish a leading-edge, US-based, multi-state Competitive Local Exchange Carrier, offering a full suite of Internet, data communication and co-location services. The services strategy included the deployment of Prexar’s own service infrastructure, including broadband and narrowband networks, collocation and hosting services, serving business and residential markets. Within 3 years Prexar had completed a ground up build of a state-wide network service infrastructure across Maine and New Hampshire, delivering network services to over 32,000 customers. This included state-wide dial access in Maine and New Hampshire, and broadband access services to 16 markets across Maine and New Hampshire. Customer growth was achieved both organically and through acquisition, with due diligence performed on 20+ Internet Service Providers (ISP), and subsequent acquisition and integration of 7.

Technical leadership and project management roles for creation and delivery of industry leading broadband services on NBTel's high speed data network infrastructure (VideActive Network). Interesting fact - in 1996 NBTel's VideoActive network was the worlds first commercially delivered 10 Mb+ high speed service network. This environent drew the best of class technology vendors to partner with NBTel to delelop and trial high speed applications and incubated many successful companies and products.

Responsible for all aspects of IT operations and software development for Corporate Office, and all divisions of EPC Industries (Poly Cello - manufacturing / Eastern Paper – distribution, Label Tech - manufacturing), with six locations in Canada and the U.S. Responsibilities included management of inhouse application development and operational support teams for all distribution and manufacturing systems which were 100% inhouse developed - full software development lifecycle (analysis, design, development, test, deployment, support).
