I have worked in the Social Work field for the past 25 years specializing in treatment for high risk individuals and families. During this time I have been a; ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) Case manager, Program Coordinator for a residential program for delinquent youth, and a treatment Foster Care Specialist/Wraparound Facilitator.I have developed treatment plans, participated in development of behavioral plans for IEP’s , collaborated with courts and other agencies to ensure continuum of care.At the residential program I also supervised a team of direct care workers. I was responsible for their performance review and addressing any type of disciplinary issues.I was instrumental in developing the treatment foster care program at Community Mental Health as the only specialist. I frequently met with both foster families and biological families. I attended court hearings in various counties as well as several school and wraparound meetings. I collaborated with the licensing staff that oversaw the foster homes to ensure that the best services were provided.
